that the 24-hour publication notice requirement (Uniform Rule 23(d))                                                            
be waived in order that the Finance Committee be allowed to schedule                                                            
the following for a hearing today:                                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
     CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 236(EDC)                                                                                            
     "An Act relating to tax credits for cash contributions by taxpayers                                                        
     that are accepted for certain educational purposes and facilities;                                                         
     and providing for an effective date."
